Applying for access

You need an approved developer account before you can use Studio, make a key or submit apps.

#Sending an application

  • Sign in with Discord. Your developer account is tied to the same Discord account you use for Uplink.
  • Open Apply and pick the program: UplinkOS apps or Server API.
  • Fill in the form: your name or studio, experience, the languages you use, a portfolio link and what you plan to build. You must be 13 or older.
  • Your answers save as a draft while you type and when you switch tabs, so nothing is lost. Start over clears it, and it is deleted once you send.

#While it is read

  • The Overview page shows Application in review.
  • An Uplink owner reads every application. The Uplink API bot messages you on Discord with the answer.

#If it is not approved

  • The reason is shown on the portal, and you can apply again after 7 days.
  • If your access is revoked later, your keys stop working and your apps leave the App Store. To appeal, open a ticket in the Uplink support server.
