Using Uplink

Map

The Map page puts every player on the ER:LC map and moves them as they drive. The colour is their team, a red glow means they are wanted, and a white ring means they have a staff rank in the game. Switch a team off with the chips above the map, or type a name to find someone.

Click a dot, or a name in the list, to open their card: where they are, their team and callsign, and what you can do.

The map lines itself up with the game. ER:LC is the same map on every server, so Uplink works out how game positions fit the picture from where players really are, across all servers, and every map in Uplink (this page, the CAD, the MDT, the moderator panel, Flock cameras and safe zones) uses the same answer. It takes a few minutes of players after a fresh start. If the dots still look off, a moderator can press Fix the map, click a player and then the spot where they really are, and Save. A fix that does not match the game is ignored in favour of the automatic one. Flock cameras and safe zones keep the position they were placed at in the game, so if you placed some while the map was off, place them again.

  • Look up opens their full record. Warn is open to helpers.
  • Moderators can also Kick, Jail, Ban and send a Message that only that player sees.
  • Go to them teleports you to the player, and Bring them to me teleports them to you. ER:LC teleports one named player to another, so Uplink uses the Roblox account you linked on the link page, and you need to be in the server.

Positions come from ER:LC every few seconds, so a dot can trail the real player a little.

#Safe zones

Moderators can draw safe zones on the Map page, like a hospital or a spawn: click to place each corner (up to 24), give it a name and save. A server can have 20. Zones show on every map in Uplink. A workflow with the trigger A player is killed in a safe zone runs when someone is killed inside one, so you can warn, jail or alert on it. Pick a zone for the workflow on the Map page to make it run only for that zone.
