Using Uplink
Support access
If you are stuck with setup or a problem, someone from the Uplink team can ask to look at your dashboard. They cannot get in on their own: the owner of your Discord server has to approve it first.
- A member of the team asks from our support server, with a reason.
- The bot sends the server owner a direct message with who is asking, why, and what they could and could not do, with two buttons: Approve for 1 hour and Deny. They have 15 minutes to answer. If the owner's direct messages are closed, the same request shows at the top of your dashboard, where only the owner can answer it.
- If the owner approves, that person has admin access to the dashboard for one hour. A blue banner says so on every page, and what they do is written to a record. It ends by itself.
- They can look at your settings and change them. They cannot see, replace or remove your ER:LC key or your Bloxlink key, and cannot erase your data.
- You can end it early any time: End access now in the same direct message, or on your dashboard. Any admin of your server can do the second.
- One request is open at a time, and after a "no" the team has to wait ten minutes before asking again.
